My Cruise History

My love for cruising started in 2003, and since then, I’ve spent 118 days at sea across 15 cruises on four different cruise lines. This year, I have two more cruises booked, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’ve cruised with family—both immediate and extended—with friends, and just with my husband. No matter the company, every trip has been fun, relaxing, and completely enjoyable. Most of my cruises have been in the Caribbean, with one incredible journey to Alaska. About half of my sailings have departed from Galveston, giving me plenty of experience navigating that port.

Over the years, I’ve had countless people ask me for cruise advice when planning their first trip. That’s why I created Cruise Savvy Tips—to share my knowledge, insider tips, and practical advice to help others make the most of their cruise experience. Whether you're a first-time cruiser or a seasoned traveler, I’m here to help you sail smoothly and stress-free!

Cruise Companion

Now that our children are grown, it’s usually just my husband and me cruising together. But we’re rarely alone—we’ve started bringing along one of my many Little Green Companions on our adventures! These travel buddies have become a fun part of our journey, making appearances in many of our cruise photos.

One day, we hope to have grandchildren to share our travels with, but until then, our little green friends are keeping us company on the high seas!
